FK LVIV's Artem Rusol got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artem Rusol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Saulius Kilčiauskas firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 26 minutes, Artem Rusol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK LVIV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artem Rusol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artem Rusol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saulius Kilčiauskas having to make a save. With a little luck, Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's Saulius Kilčiauskas got control of the ball when Artem Rusol tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Artem Rusol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 35 in the game by Artem Rusol from a close distance when the talented Saulius Kilčiauskas managed to make a qualified save. Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's players were relieved. With a little luck, Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's Saulius Kilčiauskas got control of the ball when Artem Rusol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saulius Kilčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Pokladok, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With his leg Saulius Kilčiauskas managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when FK LVIV's Artem Rusol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute of the match, Artem Rusol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saulius Kilčiauskas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, FK LVIV's Volodymyr Bugaychuk got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Saulius Kilčiauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Pokladok in the 51st minute of the match. Saulius Kilčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artem Rusol, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The FK LVIV fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when FK LVIV's Artem Rusol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 58 minutes, Roman Pokladok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK LVIV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Pokladok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ulf Majman fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's protests and gave Ulf Majman a yellow card for diving instead. Ulf Majman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artem Rusol in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saulius Kilčiauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matviy Khrystus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artem Rusol in the 64th minute of play forced Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's goalkeeper Saulius Kilčiauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, FK LVIV's Vasyl Olischuk made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saulius Kilčiauskas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 72 minutes, Artem Rusol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK LVIV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artem Rusol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Artem Rusol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's Saulius Kilčiauskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's Illja Makhnovskyi got a free kick in the 78th minute. Artem Rusol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artem Rusol might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saulius Kilčiauskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artem Rusol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, Roman Pokladok made a precise shot to the right of Saulius Kilčiauskas. Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 94 played minutes Novovolynsjk FC Shakhtar got a freekick which was hit by Illja Makhnovskyi. FK LVIV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
