When Yaroslav Tistyk came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the F.C. VICTORIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaroslav Tistyk couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Kyiv's goal looked a bit too open when Mefodiy Bidakh came free, but Siro Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthew Leach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kyiv's Valeriy Derypapa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Yaroslav Tistyk kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gerardo Canor was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. VICTORIA's players had a chance to rest. Gerardo Canor made a great header on F.C. VICTORIA's corner, it was just that Kyiv's Siro Nastasio managed to reach the ball for a save. Denis Mascovescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthew Leach in the 65th minute. VICTORIA fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when F.C. VICTORIA's Mefodiy Bidakh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yaroslav Tistyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute F.C. VICTORIA were awarded a corner. Gerardo Canor went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gerardo Canor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Siro Nastasio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Siro Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaroslav Tistyk in the 96th minute of the match.
