The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Gennadiy Yereschenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DiYaRBeKiR Turkey and the Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's Gennadiy Yereschenko got a free kick in the 7th minute. Luis Alberto Spinetta tried in the game's 11th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Sandu Racoviceanu. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. Olexiy Stus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Olexiy Stus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Racoviceanu made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jan Motyka sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Juventus FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sandu Racoviceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Motyka, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Juventus FC got a corner. DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robertinho Baggio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Federico Gatti was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 35 minutes into the game, Juventus FC's Jan Motyka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandu Racoviceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Sarbelio Ayala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olexiy Stus was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 51st minute, Sarbelio Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Motyka came free, but Sandu Racoviceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Charlie Rousselle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Juventus FC's Robertinho Baggio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandu Racoviceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Olexiy Stus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Rousselle in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Jan Motyka notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's Sandu Racoviceanu. Sandu Racoviceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Juventus FC's Nazariy Bogdaniv seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nazariy Bogdaniv the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juventus FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nazariy Bogdaniv had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the game, one of Juventus FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Lara in the 78th minute of play forced Juventus FC's goalkeeper Olexiy Stus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventus FC's Olexiy Stus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Juventus FC from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Gennadiy Tytarenko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olexiy Stus. Gennadiy Tytarenko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Olexiy Stus made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Sarbelio Ayala sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Rousselle came free, but Olexiy Stus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tymofiy Gordya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's Sandu Racoviceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Gatti in the 92nd minute of play. DiYaRBeKiR Turkey's Laércio Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the DiYaRBeKiR Turkey players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus FC.
