With 28 minutes on the clock, Bozkurt İlkser commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, one of RİTMİKSPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RİTMİKSPOR. RİTMİKSPOR:s Hulki Tanyol showed great skill when he stopped Aycan Tura:s penalty. Hulki Tanyol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilge Evvah in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zeytinburnu's zone, Aşık Urangu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyfullah Vargın came out of the goal and Aşık Urangu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seyfullah Vargın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşim Sezen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Özbek Osmanlıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah Vargın having to interfere. Bilge Evvah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hulki Tanyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes RİTMİKSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Özbek Osmanlıoğlu. If Haşim Sezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
