Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Burak Onar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Önder Aksun made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Aktuğ Türk sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Ahmet Yahya Ugraş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Akgün Sarı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Ürgüp JK's Önder Aksun got control of the ball when Ulaş Taran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Önder Aksun made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aktuğ Türk sent off a good shot on target. Burak Onar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Önder Aksun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aktuğ Türk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Önder Aksun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aktuğ Türk got free with Önder Aksun in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ürgüp JK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cem İşcan hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Fikret Seralp sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ürgüp JK's Önder Aksun didn't even have to move. In the 37th minute, Ant Seyfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Durmuş Okbudun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sivasspor's Akgün Sarı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Önder Aksun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burak Onar in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 60th minute Aktuğ Türk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Önder Aksun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ürgüp JK's Ahmet Yahya Ugraş got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Sivasspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Vedat Çetinel to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Burak Onar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Önder Aksun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Ürgüp JK got a freekick which was hit by İskender Özenli. Önder Aksun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burak Onar in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktuğ Türk in the 86th minute of play forced Ürgüp JK's goalkeeper Önder Aksun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Burak Onar made a precise shot to the right of Önder Aksun. Ürgüp JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sivasspor players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
