Alemdar Gökyüzü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suat Tuğaltay in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Devran Haliloğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alemdar Gökyüzü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suat Tuğaltay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alemdar Gökyüzü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayri Gündoğan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gafur Şahabeddin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gafur Şahabeddin was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Savsat FK's zone, Suat Tuğaltay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alemdar Gökyüzü came out of the goal and Suat Tuğaltay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Devran Haliloğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sariveliler's supporters rose to their feet, but Devran Haliloğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alemdar Gökyüzü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Suat Tuğaltay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Sariveliler's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Savsat FK's Alemdar Gökyüzü proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Savsat FK from getting a goal against them. Gafur Şahabeddin scored 2-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hayri Gündoğan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Devran Haliloğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
