When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Vânderson Paulista put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Şefik Hacıağa. In the 21st minute, Nurtekin Cerit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halil Utku Çavas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Halil Utku Çavas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Tokuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Vânderson Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Paulista in the 78th minute of play forced Akcadag's goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Hacıağa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halil Utku Çavas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nurtekin Cerit in the 80th minute. The supporters of Akcadag booed when Galatasaray AŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bumin İltekin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
