In the 6th minute, one of KARAMANSPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KARAMANSPOR. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, MATATA FC's Ferhan Acem got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dilmen Kurumer. If Çelikan Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Menderes Aydınoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dilmen Kurumer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Özer Türkol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Kurumer having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, KARAMANSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Çelikan Sarper came free, but Dilmen Kurumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Yaman Bahadır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dilmen Kurumer made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Çelikan Sarper sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th match minute, MATATA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menderes Aydınoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Özer Türkol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KARAMANSPOR's Dilmen Kurumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhan Acem in the 38th minute of play. When Özer Türkol came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MATATA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özer Türkol couldn't finish the play. Özer Türkol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Kurumer having to interfere. Mustafa Neba kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Çelikan Sarper struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dilmen Kurumer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MATATA FC. When Ali Asım Tengizalp came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the KARAMANSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Asım Tengizalp couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çelikan Sarper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Çelikan Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferhan Acem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dilmen Kurumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özer Türkol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of MATATA FC booed when KARAMANSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Asım Tengizalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çelikan Sarper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When MATATA FC's Çelikan Sarper in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KARAMANSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. When Mustafa Neba was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Dilmen Kurumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özer Türkol, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MATATA FC fully deserved thier win.
