After a defensive mix-up in Osmancik's zone, Şafak Özkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balamir Özek came out of the goal and Şafak Özkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Şafak Özkaya came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cepni Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şafak Özkaya couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Cepni Spor's Fazıl Hüsnü Uğurel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balamir Özek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Balamir Özek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fazıl Hüsnü Uğurel went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cepni Spor's Fikri Özakıncı got a free kick in the 48th minute. The Osmancik players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cepni Spor were winning 0-2.

Kutlay Baturalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tansu Başarman, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th match minute, Cepni Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazıl Hüsnü Uğurel to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Taha Pekinturk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Cepni Spor got a freekick which was hit by Doğuhan Akburak. Şafak Özkaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balamir Özek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Wilbur Abendroths short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Balamir Özek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anıl Ege Tongal hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Osmancik's Balamir Özek got control of the ball when Şafak Özkaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Yaman Bakırhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cepni Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osmancik the free kick. In the 84th minute, Yaman Bakırhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
