In the 25th match minute, Kemaliye FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulkadir Ersan to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Ali Cafer Ergönül notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kemaliye FK's Hasan Hüseyin Rezzak. Hasan Hüseyin Rezzak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Cafer Ergönül struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Geyve's zone, Fuat Rıza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haluk İçkin came out of the goal and Fuat Rıza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kutlualp Doğanay made a kick off. Kutlualp Doğanay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Hüseyin Rezzak having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ömür Salat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geyve's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kemaliye FK the free kick. Ahmet Ömür Salat kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Fuat Rıza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haluk İçkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Alp Hamurcuoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kemaliye FK and the Geyve players grew even worse after the yellow card.
