Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rüknettin Çokay got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüknettin Çokay in the 4th minute of play forced Gebze's goalkeeper Hikmet Genişyürek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes Ceritler's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Genco Akad who took care of the corner kick. Ceritler's Cüneyt Türköne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mert İleri in the 16th minute of play. Hikmet Genişyürek was a little too slow when Rüknettin Çokay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Ceritler's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu came free, but Cüneyt Türköne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Genco Akad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ceritler's Cüneyt Türköne did a great save. The audience was convinced that Mert İleri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cüneyt Türköne was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ceritler's zone, Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Türköne came out of the goal and Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mert İleri took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cüneyt Türköne. Cüneyt Türköne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cüneyt Türköne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gebze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu rounded Ceritler's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Türköne having to interfere. Cüneyt Türköne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Ceritler's Seyfullah Kayıboylu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hikmet Genişyürek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamza Tavil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hikmet Genişyürek. Gebze's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Erkan Soyselçuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rüknettin Çokay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hikmet Genişyürek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu in the 81st minute of play forced Ceritler's goalkeeper Cüneyt Türköne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mert İleri might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cüneyt Türköne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mert İleri ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ceritler's zone, Mert İleri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Türköne came out of the goal and Mert İleri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Ceritler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sinan Sefer to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Ediz Dündaroğlu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Gebze's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Mert İleri put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Cüneyt Türköne.
