The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hürkan Hanecioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Akören fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hürkan Hanecioğlu couldn't finish the play. Çelik Pala struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Sertaç Sara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yüksekova JK. After a rather tough play, Yüksekova JK's İskender Baki Uruz got a free kick in the 13th minute. Emirhan Esentürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hürkan Hanecioğlu in the 14th minute of the match. Ali Emir Balcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emirhan Esentürk having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Hürkan Hanecioğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yüksekova JK's Emirhan Esentürk. Emirhan Esentürk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd match minute, Yüksekova JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İskender Baki Uruz to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Akören's Ahmet Korkut Kocaker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emirhan Esentürk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hürkan Hanecioğlu was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Yüksekova JK's goalkeeper Emirhan Esentürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Emir Balcan. Yüksekova JK's Emirhan Esentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hürkan Hanecioğlu in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hürkan Hanecioğlu in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emirhan Esentürk saved Yüksekova JK from getting behind. Emirhan Esentürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hürkan Hanecioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Tibet Karhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emirhan Esentürk having to interfere. Emirhan Esentürk made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ali Emir Balcan sent off a good shot on target. Ali Emir Balcan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 98th playminute. The Yüksekova JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Akören were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
