Enes Uğurcan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Baybars Altuncuoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zekai Sermet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacib Özdağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes Akyazi JK got a freekick which was hit by Naci Özbala. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şaban Tolga during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Şaban Tolga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Akyazi JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zekai Sermet came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Akyazi JK's Ferhan Kadıoğlu. But to his dismay, Ferhan Kadıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Vacib Özdağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Akyazi JK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Osman Nuri Suerkan made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Vacib Özdağ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Akyazi JK's zone, Enes Uğurcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baybars Altuncuoğlu came out of the goal and Enes Uğurcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ottoman Empire FC's Zekai Sermet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vacib Özdağ in the 61st minute of play. Akyazi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vacib Özdağ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
