Ferhat Ozansu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cebrail Cezar in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taci Tunçaslan in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferhat Ozansu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ekber Özver fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Üsküdar's protests and gave Ekber Özver a yellow card for diving instead. Ekber Özver hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ferhat Ozansu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taci Tunçaslan in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Üsküdar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taci Tunçaslan to maneuver through the defense. Aşır Alpsoy struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cumali Metin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRABZON SPOR 1967. If Felix Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Üsküdar's goalkeeper Cumali Metin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Üsküdar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cumali Metin should have stopped the shot. Cumali Metin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cumali Metin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Botello in the 30th minute of the match. If Felix Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aşır Alpsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felix Botello came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the TRABZON SPOR 1967 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Botello couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
