After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ahmet İlhan Kerimhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. sisli's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet İlhan Kerimhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yetkiner Akburç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erkut Ilgınlı took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arslan Kayıboylu. Arslan Kayıboylu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Erkut Ilgınlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arslan Kayıboylu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Öztürk Akgüneş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Yetkiner Akburç made a huge save. Öztürk Akgüneş scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yetkiner Akburç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Öztürk Akgüneş lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Yetkiner Akburç. A collision led to sisli getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ulvi Borlu hit a great ball. Yetkiner Akburç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atay Uluant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rumelikavagi JK's Yetkiner Akburç got control of the ball when Öztürk Akgüneş tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 played minutes sisli got a freekick which was hit by Gökmen Akman. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th match minute, Rumelikavagi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Can to maneuver through the defense. Onurhan Mahir kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rumelikavagi JK's zone, Atay Uluant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yetkiner Akburç came out of the goal and Atay Uluant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yetkiner Akburç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atay Uluant in the 63rd minute of the match. Mümin Uğursan's late challenge caught a sisli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mümin Uğursan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, one of Rumelikavagi JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rumelikavagi JK. The referee gave sisli a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gökmen Akman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rumelikavagi JK's Yetkiner Akburç. 3-1. 75 minutes into the match, Rumelikavagi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Akgüneş came free, but Yetkiner Akburç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rumelikavagi JK's Yetkiner Akburç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Öztürk Akgüneş in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute Atay Uluant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkiner Akburç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Öztürk Akgüneş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yetkiner Akburç having to interfere. Atay Uluant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umut Şahiner during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Umut Şahiner kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Öztürk Akgüneş couldn't finish the play. Rumelikavagi JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
