An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadıl Baştuğ in the 6th minute of play forced Adanaspor's goalkeeper Mecnun Şahbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, RİZESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Necati Semin came free, but Hakkı Kenan Babacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hürkan Artan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökçek Adısönmez got free with Hakkı Kenan Babacan in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitrie Oss in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hakkı Kenan Babacan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 35 minutes, Dimitrie Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökçek Adısönmez to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gökçek Adısönmez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakkı Kenan Babacan. RİZESPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökçek Adısönmez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. RİZESPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Asım Elmastaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mecnun Şahbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mecnun Şahbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kağan Nadi in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Adanaspor's Hürkan Artan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Ahmet Asım Elmastaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mecnun Şahbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
