Şadi Vahdet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazım Uluğ having to interfere. Sait Asır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bedrettin Kutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedrettin Kutay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behzat Uram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Ali Tüzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Yildizeli JK booed when Kiziltepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Cafer Bolat didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Şadi Vahdet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kiziltepe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Nazım Uluğ went to the wrong direction when Doruk Payam was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Nazım Uluğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dursun Ali Tüzel in the 53rd minute of the match. Şadi Vahdet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nazım Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Şadi Vahdet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazım Uluğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sait Asır in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bedrettin Kutay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sait Asır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Bedrettin Kutay made a huge save. In the 77th minute Behzat Uram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedrettin Kutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dursun Ali Tüzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazım Uluğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şadi Vahdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Nazım Uluğ came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Yildizeli JK's Dursun Ali Tüzel. But to his dismay, Dursun Ali Tüzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
