Chelsea FC's Afşin Artan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Onur Aynacı in the 52nd minute of play. Chelsea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orhaneli JK the free kick. In the 74th minute, one of Chelsea FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chelsea FC. After some careless play in the Chelsea FC defense, Hakkı Onur Aynacı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afşin Artan. The Chelsea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afşin Artan should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 88 in the game by Cemal Azimli from a close distance when the talented Rafet Orgunalp managed to make a qualified save. Orhaneli JK's players were relieved. Cemal Azimli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 93rd playminute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsea FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orhaneli JK.
