When Ziya Onur Varol fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bornova City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Cadddebostan's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Yumlu came free, but Uygur İlbaşı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uygur İlbaşı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemalettin Kıvılcım in the 45th minute of play. Bircan Uluöz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Cihaner, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Bülent Yumlu made a kick off. Bircan Uluöz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feyyaz Dilhun in the 54th minute. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cadddebostan were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bornova City side.
