In the 47th minute, Birkan Tayyip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferman Akburçak made a kick off. Göktan Korur scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yaşar Özdemir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Akın Özdeğer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 78th minute, Müfit Öztek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göktan Korur struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Yaşar Özdemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güclükonak. If Göktan Korur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birkan Tayyip kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Rıfat Çırak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akın Özdeğer having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Rıfat Çırak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Güclükonak's zone, Rahman Sebuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akın Özdeğer came out of the goal and Rahman Sebuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Güclükonak players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
