After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray A.Ş's zone, Oğuzhan Orgun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan came out of the goal and Oğuzhan Orgun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Oğuzhan Orgun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cukurca's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuzhan Orgun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzhan Orgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzhan Orgun in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Galatasaray A.Ş getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bora Nebi hit a great ball. If Recep Baykara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Tolga Cingöz struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Serdar Olgunsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray A.Ş. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oğuzhan Orgun to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Cukurca's Recep Baykara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nurettin İlyas charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nurettin İlyas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray A.Ş's Nurettin İlyas got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray A.Ş's zone, Recep Baykara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan came out of the goal and Recep Baykara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oğuzhan Orgun went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Recep Baykara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuzhan Orgun in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Kutsi Şendoğan saved Galatasaray A.Ş from getting behind. The supporters of Galatasaray A.Ş booed when Cukurca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coşkun Alişan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Galatasaray A.Ş's Songurhan Türünk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serdar Olgunsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Ahmet Tolga Cingöz made a precise shot to the right of Serdar Olgunsu. Cukurca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Ahmet Tolga Cingöz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Galatasaray A.Ş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Tolga Cingöz couldn't finish the play. Serdar Olgunsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurhan Türünk, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Galatasaray A.Ş supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cukurca's performance. The match ended with a win for Cukurca.
