Ali Berkant Tanyıldız took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Umar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Berkant Tanyıldız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Umar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute, Mehmet Bilge Ülkü ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Berkant Tanyıldız was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dicle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilla Umar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Bilge Ülkü in the 46th minute of play forced izmirspor's goalkeeper Ali Berkant Tanyıldız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Mehmet Bilge Ülkü notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of izmirspor's Ali Berkant Tanyıldız. When Mehmet Bilge Ülkü came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Dicle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Bilge Ülkü couldn't finish the play.
