Dead OR Alive's Naim Tezcan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Dead OR Alive from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Savaşer Omay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beyhan Yersel struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tamer Pekinturk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dead OR Alive. The audience was convinced that Aygün Dural's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tamer Pekinturk was relentless in the 38th minute of the game.

With his leg Tamer Pekinturk managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Dead OR Alive's Beyhan Yersel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Aygün Dural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egemen Recep hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Savaşer Omay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naim Tezcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barlas Kutalp in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Beyhan Yersel managed to get in a good position for a shot.
