Kartal Ulutan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gayrettepe SK's Kartal Ulutan in 7 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vedat Özguner guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gayrettepe SK's Şemsettin Yaygır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atakan Ongul in the 8th minute of play. Kartal Ulutan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vedat Özguner having to interfere. Necmi Mülayim charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necmi Mülayim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Gayrettepe SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Mülayim to maneuver through the defense. When Süleymaniye's Atakan Ongul in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gayrettepe SK's Şemsettin Yaygır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atakan Ongul in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Süleymaniye's Vedat Özguner got control of the ball when Yahya Kemal Zafir tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ahmet Orhan Turay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kartal Ulutan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vedat Özguner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kartal Ulutan in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vedat Özguner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kartal Ulutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simão Pires's late challenge caught a Süleymaniye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Pires helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Gayrettepe SK got a freekick which was hit by Simão Pires. Atakan Ongul kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Kartal Ulutan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vedat Özguner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kartal Ulutan made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Sadettin Akmeşe in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gayrettepe SK's Simão Pires. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Kartal Ulutan put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vedat Özguner. Şadi Öztan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kartal Ulutan might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vedat Özguner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kartal Ulutan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Süleymaniye's goalkeeper Vedat Özguner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yahya Kemal Zafir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vedat Özguner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Kartal Ulutan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vedat Özguner. Süleymaniye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kartal Ulutan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 70 minutes into the game, Kartal Ulutan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Vedat Özguner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gayrettepe SK's Tolga Ocak was substituted for Yahya Kemal Zafir. Kartal Ulutan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vedat Özguner having to interfere. Simão Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vedat Özguner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kartal Ulutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tolga Ocak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gayrettepe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolga Ocak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vedat Özguner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gayrettepe SK's Simão Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vedat Özguner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartal Ulutan in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Süleymaniye's zone, Simão Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vedat Özguner came out of the goal and Simão Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gayrettepe SK had played much better football throughout.
