Erhan Mahçup kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Erdeniz Hacıfettahoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gökberk İskender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hozat FK's Gökberk İskender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdeniz Hacıfettahoğlu in the 8th minute of play. If Yavuzalp Ethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güntekin Ünalan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güntekin Ünalan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in AKYIL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Hozat FK. Behzat Özol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamdullah Toktuğ. 1-0. After a rather tough play, AKYIL's Hami Aktay got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gökberk İskender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuzalp Ethem in the 26th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Hozat FK got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Mahçup. Yavuzalp Ethem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gökberk İskender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yavuzalp Ethem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gökberk İskender read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Yavuzalp Ethem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKYIL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, AKYIL's goal looked a bit too open when Rasim Bülbül came free, but Hamdullah Toktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytuğ Irmak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Toktuğ having to interfere. Erdeniz Hacıfettahoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gökberk İskender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rasim Bülbül made the kick off in the second half. If Erdeniz Hacıfettahoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hozat FK's Bora Akar pulled a muscle in his back after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bahadırhan Nursal's late challenge caught a Hozat FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahadırhan Nursal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hozat FK booed when AKYIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahadırhan Nursal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hozat FK's Gökberk İskender proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Hozat FK from getting a goal against them. If Erhan Mahçup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Cafer Ilgın kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Behzat Özol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hozat FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behzat Özol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamdullah Toktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhan Mahçup in the 82nd minute of play. Gökberk İskender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuzalp Ethem, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Aytuğ Irmak struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hamdullah Toktuğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hozat FK. If Yavuzalp Ethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play AKYIL's Güntekin Ünalan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to AKYIL getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Güntekin Ünalan hit a great ball. Aytuğ Irmak might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamdullah Toktuğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aytuğ Irmak ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hozat FK had won after a very even match.
