The crowd rose to their feet as İlyas Temizalp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Boran Olgunsu. That made the score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. After 45 minutes, Fahrettin Satır made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sarıyer SK's Lütfi Vefalı tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Ahmet Boran Olgunsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peker Özok in the 52nd minute of the match.
