Cem Ergüden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ozan Deveci having to interfere. Rahman Kudsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faik Armağan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rahman Kudsi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Çağrı Yatuk's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aricak's zone, Tevfik Toregün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ozan Deveci came out of the goal and Tevfik Toregün tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee ignored Aricak's protests and gave Orkun Akboy a yellow card for diving instead. HORTUMM's supporters rose to their feet, but Cem Ergüden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ozan Deveci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes, Fuat Taluy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aricak and the HORTUMM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aricak's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
