He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ÖMER ERDEM reached it. Dimitris Liaskovitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktuğ Şenyurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Dimitris Liaskovitis made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Hakkı Kenan İmran sent off a good shot on target. Abay Berksoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Semail Durul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Abay Berksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match Demir Malgır sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abay Berksoy skillfully saved the ball. If Sungur Yeğrek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demir Malgır took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abay Berksoy. Hüyük's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Semail Durul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aktuğ Şenyurt in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Liaskovitis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilla Afgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sungur Yeğrek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Berksoy having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Hüyük was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Tunçboğa to maneuver through the defense. Semail Durul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abay Berksoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Hüyük's Aktuğ Şenyurt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitris Liaskovitis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aktuğ Şenyurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Liaskovitis having to interfere. Atilla Afgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abay Berksoy was a little too slow when Sungur Yeğrek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-2. Atilla Afgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Abay Berksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sungur Yeğrek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abay Berksoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semail Durul in the 95th minute. When the match was over ÖMER ERDEM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hüyük throughout the match.
