When Saffet Saraçoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Düzce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saffet Saraçoğlu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Arif Tugay Müslim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Düzce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Tugay Müslim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute of the match, Emirşah Nazil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fikri Tüzer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in babayorgun's zone, Saffet Saraçoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osman Nuri Salim came out of the goal and Saffet Saraçoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Tugay Müslim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Nuri Salim having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Emirşah Nazil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saffet Saraçoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osman Nuri Salim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Saffet Saraçoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Nuri Salim. babayorgun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saffet Saraçoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Arif Tugay Müslim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Arif Tugay Müslim notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of babayorgun's Osman Nuri Salim. Osman Nuri Salim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Arif Tugay Müslim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osman Nuri Salim was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saffet Saraçoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Arif Tugay Müslim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Nuri Salim having to interfere. Saffet Saraçoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Osman Nuri Salim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Düzce. Osman Nuri Salim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Tugay Müslim's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Fikri Tüzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emirşah Nazil in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Düzce's Arif Tugay Müslim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osman Nuri Salim. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Tugay Müslim in the 79th minute of play forced babayorgun's goalkeeper Osman Nuri Salim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peyami Usberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 88 played minutes Düzce got a freekick which was hit by Behram Taşan. Düzce's Saffet Saraçoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The babayorgun fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Düzce were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
