The crowd rose to their feet as Sermet Akkan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fikri Tüzer. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Alper Eröz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bartin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alper Eröz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ata Hacıfettahoğlu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arif Tugay Müslim hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fikri Tüzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabit Vahdet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Düzce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Güner Maksum was slow to take the kick. During this time Bartin's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Güner Maksum got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fikri Tüzer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bartin! Alişan Özertan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 33rd minute, Sabit Vahdet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Mauro Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sermet Akkan got free with Fikri Tüzer in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 38 in the game by Özgün İrem from a close distance when the talented Fikri Tüzer managed to make a qualified save. Düzce's players were relieved. Arif Tugay Müslim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir Saatçioğlu having to interfere. Özgün İrem charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özgün İrem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Özgün İrem hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bartin could leave the field as winners, despite Düzce having more of the ball for most of the match.
