The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Behçet Sazak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şenol Avcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ecevit Sabi could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Hıdır Ruhittin however easily saved by the left post. Mecnun Taşdan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Yücel Vahip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pangalti's supporters rose to their feet, but Yücel Vahip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hıdır Ruhittin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecevit Sabi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yücel Vahip to strike the kick off in the second half. Yücel Vahip struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hıdır Ruhittin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pangalti. Sungurhan Sadak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hıdır Ruhittin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Sertel Tekinsoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kırmızı Şimşekler and the Pangalti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kırmızı Şimşekler's Sertel Tekinsoy got a free kick in the 61st minute. Behçet Sazak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şenol Avcu in the 69th minute of the match. Sertel Tekinsoy got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Kırmızı Şimşekler's Sertel Tekinsoy got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yücel Vahip in the 92nd minute of play forced Kırmızı Şimşekler's goalkeeper Hıdır Ruhittin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Pangalti's Yücel Vahip sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hıdır Ruhittin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Yücel Vahip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pangalti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
