Bekir Çaykara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radowit Wierzbicki in the 15th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Bekir Çaykara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the game, Alp Baltacı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hopa SK's Günalp Dirican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirkelam Özakın in the 32nd minute of play. Merzifon's Bekir Çaykara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Merzifon from getting a goal against them. Ertunç Kiyas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Günalp Dirican. Hopa SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hopa SK's Ali Macit Denizcan was substituted for Reşat Ülke.
