Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yusuf Kayaer started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Erbatur Şerhenk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Suhut's Birsel Akbel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Birsel Akbel fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suhut's protests and gave Birsel Akbel a yellow card for diving instead. Merih Sönmezalp struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Bekir Çaykara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suhut. Bekir Çaykara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergün Sadun, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Kayaer in the 12th minute of play forced Merzifon's goalkeeper Bekir Çaykara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Suhut booed when Merzifon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okaner Saadettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Volkan Tuğsan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yusuf Kayaer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bekir Çaykara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Merzifon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Suhut were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mirkelam Özakın made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Suhut's Birsel Akbel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With his leg Bekir Çaykara managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Suhut's Yusuf Kayaer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Merzifon's zone, Volkan Tuğsan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bekir Çaykara came out of the goal and Volkan Tuğsan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atakan Masum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Baltacı in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Merzifon getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erbatur Şerhenk hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Tekin Himmet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bekir Çaykara skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Yusuf Kayaer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bekir Çaykara was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Yusuf Kayaer in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yusuf Kayaer in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bekir Çaykara saved Merzifon from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Suhut's Volkan Tuğsan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bekir Çaykara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Suhut fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Suhut's Yusuf Kayaer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Yusuf Kayaer came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Suhut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yusuf Kayaer couldn't finish the play. With his leg Bekir Çaykara managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Suhut's Yusuf Kayaer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Suhut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
