The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 63 played minutes Cizre SK got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Ali Oruk. Nazım Kotuzhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahtiyar Uğuş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Cizre SK's Süruri Kutlu got control of the ball when Göktürk Sümeroğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sinan Şenel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süruri Kutlu having to interfere. After 93 played minutes, Cizre SK's Ahmet Hafiz Otaç shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bahtiyar Uğuş came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cizre SK reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cizre SK fully deserved thier win.
