The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zeki Sarif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadettin İltay in the 3rd minute of play. If Oğuzalp Sehhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes, Ahmet Harun Nuri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anadolu GFK and the Bitlis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sadettin İltay struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Zeki Sarif didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anadolu GFK. After 15 played minutes Bitlis got a freekick which was hit by İdris Nadi. In the last second Zeki Sarif throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sadettin İltay in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Bitlis's İdris Nadi got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, İdris Nadi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Anadolu GFK's Erman Sedat. Erman Sedat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. İdris Nadi struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Erman Sedat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bitlis. A hard shot 27 in the game by Oğuzalp Sehhar from a close distance when the talented Zeki Sarif managed to make a qualified save. Bitlis's players were relieved. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anıl Ozan Yafes made a kick off. Sadettin İltay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zeki Sarif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Anadolu GFK fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Anadolu GFK's Oğuzalp Sehhar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 70 minutes into the game, Ahmet Haşim Tunalı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anadolu GFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bitlis the free kick. Ahmet Haşim Tunalı kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Erman Sedat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zülfikar Nurkan. Bitlis's Zeki Sarif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzalp Sehhar in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Bitlis's goal looked a bit too open when Batıkan Avşar came free, but Zeki Sarif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadettin İltay in the 76th minute of play forced Bitlis's goalkeeper Zeki Sarif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batıkan Avşar during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Anadolu GFK got a freekick which was hit by Batıkan Avşar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bitlis's goalkeeper Zeki Sarif, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, İdris Nadi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erman Sedat. İdris Nadi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Ahmet Emir Özakın charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Emir Özakın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Anadolu GFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bitlis:s goal. The goalkeeper, Erman Sedat, was totally fooled by Bitlis's Zülfikar Nurkan, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, İdris Nadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bitlis's supporters rose to their feet, but İdris Nadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erman Sedat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Ilgaz Tokyüz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bitlis were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Anadolu GFK's much stronger midfield.
