Spectators: 5143 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 143) Halit Tuğkun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The 1967 Trabzonspo® fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when 1967 Trabzonspo®'s Evaldas Baublys looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hilmi Hadim might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rıfkı Cambaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilmi Hadim ran back to his position shaking his head. Jaroslaw Birkenhagen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, 1967 Trabzonspo®'s Sadettin Mensur got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jaroslaw Birkenhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, SALDA GUCU's goal looked a bit too open when Evaldas Baublys came free, but Serkan Koçer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafet Ulubaş kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes, 1967 Trabzonspo®'s Engin Saim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serkan Koçer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1967 Trabzonspo® reached it. Serkan Koçer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halit Tuğkun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. SALDA GUCU's Serkan Koçer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halit Tuğkun in the 38th minute of play. Rıfkı Cambaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ender Sebih in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Evaldas Baublys made a precise shot to the right of Serkan Koçer. SALDA GUCU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rafet Ulubaş sped through 1967 Trabzonspo®'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rıfkı Cambaz. Rafet Ulubaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıfkı Cambaz having to interfere. Jaroslaw Birkenhagen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes SALDA GUCU got a freekick which was hit by Rafet Ulubaş. Serkan Koçer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halit Tuğkun, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Halit Tuğkun kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 1967 Trabzonspo®'s Rıfkı Cambaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafet Ulubaş in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute Rafet Ulubaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıfkı Cambaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Evaldas Baublys made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. SALDA GUCU's Serkan Koçer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 1967 Trabzonspo®'s İnanç Özbay was substituted for Ahmet Orhan İlkim. In the 78th minute, 1967 Trabzonspo®'s Halit Tuğkun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serkan Koçer. Serkan Koçer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in SALDA GUCU's zone, Jaroslaw Birkenhagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serkan Koçer came out of the goal and Jaroslaw Birkenhagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SALDA GUCU booed when 1967 Trabzonspo® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Stenström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ender Sebih came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SALDA GUCU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ender Sebih couldn't finish the play. Halit Tuğkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
