Spectators: 7123 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pars Sağınç started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Balmumcu's Birdal Azim got control of the ball when Hüsnü Ongu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birdal Azim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüsnü Ongu in the 8th minute. Birdal Azim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Balmumcu's Yahya Kemal Uluçkan got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gölbasi JK's Muhittin Artuç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veli Tanaydin in the 14th minute of play. If Yahya Kemal Uluçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Bayındır Dede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gölbasi JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balmumcu the free kick. In the 19th minute, Bayındır Dede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Kemal Uluçkan in the 21st minute of play forced Gölbasi JK's goalkeeper Muhittin Artuç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gölbasi JK's Muhittin Artuç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veli Tanaydin in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Mustafa Emrah Kura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balmumcu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gölbasi JK the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Balmumcu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Emrah Kura to maneuver through the defense. Pars Sağınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Birdal Azim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hüsnü Ongu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muhittin Artuç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veli Tanaydin in the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yahya Kemal Uluçkan made a kick off. Muhittin Artuç was a little too slow when Yahya Kemal Uluçkan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Binali Sarp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Birdal Azim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Balmumcu getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mehmet Hamdi Uslu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balmumcu's zone, Pars Sağınç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birdal Azim came out of the goal and Pars Sağınç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veli Tanaydin struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Muhittin Artuç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balmumcu. In the 74th minute Hüsnü Ongu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birdal Azim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birdal Azim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsnü Ongu in the 76th minute of the match. Hüsnü Ongu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Birdal Azim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Balmumcu's Yahya Kemal Uluçkan in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gölbasi JK's goalie prevented a goal. Veli Tanaydin scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muhittin Artuç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Veli Tanaydin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Balmumcu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Balmumcu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
