Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samir Bakırcı took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sertaç Mesut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ahmet Reha Tümay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Baturalp Akkılıç reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Reha Tümay. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samir Bakırcı in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Reha Tümay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, Baturalp Akkılıç recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Reha Tümay. Baturalp Akkılıç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Giresun's Selami Cangur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çelebi Hilal in the 16th minute of play. Baturalp Akkılıç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ahmet Reha Tümay made a huge save. Ahmet Reha Tümay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Asım Turgay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Genc FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ragıp Cangur came free, but Ahmet Reha Tümay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genc FK's Ahmet Reha Tümay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturalp Akkılıç in the 31st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Ragıp Cangur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sufi Hıfzullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giresun's supporters rose to their feet, but Sufi Hıfzullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Reha Tümay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Selami Cangur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelebi Hilal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Yunus Bayraktar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Selami Cangur, passed just outside the right post. In the 58th minute, Genc FK's Çelebi Hilal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Selami Cangur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelebi Hilal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Giresun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Genc FK:s goal. Giresun:s Selami Cangur showed great skill when he stopped Gündüz Özekan:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demirhan Eracar during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Genc FK got a freekick which was hit by Demirhan Eracar. After 72 minutes, Şükrü Tekmil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genc FK and the Giresun players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Genc FK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Şükrü Tekmil hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Sertaç Mesut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giresun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sertaç Mesut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Giresun's Baturalp Akkılıç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Reha Tümay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 84th minute, Sertaç Mesut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giresun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When Şükrü Tekmil was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Abdurrahman Gazir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Abdurrahman Gazir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selami Cangur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giresun walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
