Hakan Özata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilmi Aşkıner, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilmi Aşkıner to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ragıp Halıcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahcelievler FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragıp Halıcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolga Pekgöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sinan Şerhenk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolga Pekgöz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute of the match Batıray Mertol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sinan Şerhenk skillfully saved the ball. Ensar Onursoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinan Şerhenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Pekgöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, arpaçay's Tolga Pekgöz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
