Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulvi Direm started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Arda Tacal in the 3rd minute of play forced Malazgirtspor's goalkeeper Resul Siddik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malazgirtspor's zone, Anıl Arda Tacal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Resul Siddik came out of the goal and Anıl Arda Tacal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Malazgirtspor's goal looked a bit too open when Akif Özertem came free, but Resul Siddik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, VAN's Adnan Adılhan got a free kick in the 13th minute. Okanay Saltar took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Resul Siddik. Resul Siddik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Baycan Çalapover made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Atalan Eskioğlu sent off a good shot on target. If Okanay Saltar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, VAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邱诚兴 to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Anıl Arda Tacal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resul Siddik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Atalan Eskioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Malazgirtspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atalan Eskioğlu couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Okanay Saltar to make the kick off. Arif Buğra Remzi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Resul Siddik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okanay Saltar in the 56th minute of the match. Adnan Adılhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Malazgirtspor's Abdulhamit Ezgü got a free kick in the 58th minute. Okanay Saltar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Resul Siddik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. VAN's Anıl Arda Tacal got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ardahan Bekdil's late challenge caught a VAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ardahan Bekdil helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malazgirtspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Resul Siddik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okanay Saltar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Baysal Olcaytu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, VAN's Resul Siddik threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okanay Saltar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulvi Direm in the 90th minute of play forced VAN's goalkeeper Baycan Çalapover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of VAN booed when Malazgirtspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürkan Uzay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anıl Arda Tacal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Anıl Arda Tacal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Arda Tacal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over VAN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malazgirtspor throughout the match.
