Battal Cüneyt Gence was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th play minute Nusret Doğangün came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Necaettin Yalgın. 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Kılıçalp Burçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Tabaye's Ahmet Nedim Beycan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rıfat Urhan's late challenge caught a Tabaye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rıfat Urhan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wakame's Rıfat Urhan got a free kick in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Wakame's Rıfat Urhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Necaettin Yalgın. That made the score 2-1 after 27 minutes of play. Haydar Karacabey hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ahmet Nedim Beycan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Gence having to interfere. Rıfat Urhan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atay Aktar in the 36th minute of play forced Wakame's goalkeeper Battal Cüneyt Gence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Ahmet Nedim Beycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Cüneyt Gence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ertunç Onuker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Gence having to interfere. Necaettin Yalgın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emre Yetişbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sami Kanber came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Tabaye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sami Kanber couldn't finish the play.

Tabaye's Behzat Gelenbe was substituted for Ertunç Onuker. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emre Yetişbey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Emre Yetişbey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necaettin Yalgın. Tabaye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emre Yetişbey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Necaettin Yalgın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusret Doğangün, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sami Kanber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabaye's supporters rose to their feet, but Sami Kanber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Cüneyt Gence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Ahmet Kutsi Neşit in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tabaye's Sami Kanber. If Sami Kanber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tabaye booed when Wakame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rıfat Urhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necaettin Yalgın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nusret Doğangün went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Kanber got free with Battal Cüneyt Gence in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Suavi Kalgay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabaye's supporters rose to their feet, but Suavi Kalgay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Cüneyt Gence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Suavi Kalgay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wakame fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tabaye had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
