Battal Cüneyt Gence came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Kesan's Ulvi Özengin. But to his dismay, Ulvi Özengin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Emre Yetişbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Çelik Üstün was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ilgaz Urkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Battal Cüneyt Gence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulvi Özengin's late challenge caught a Wakame's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulvi Özengin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wakame booed when Kesan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulvi Özengin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulvi Özengin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Ulvi Özengin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Ilgaz Urkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Cüneyt Gence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Nusret Doğangün from a close distance when the talented Çelik Üstün managed to make a qualified save. Kesan's players were relieved. Ulvi Özengin took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Battal Cüneyt Gence. Battal Cüneyt Gence dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Kesan were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emre Yetişbey to make the kick off. Nusret Doğangün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulvi Özengin in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Battal Cüneyt Gence saved Wakame from getting behind. Emre Yetişbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Çelik Üstün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kesan's zone, Emre Yetişbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Çelik Üstün came out of the goal and Emre Yetişbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Emre Yetişbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelik Üstün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilgaz Urkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Battal Cüneyt Gence made a huge save. Ulvi Özengin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilgaz Urkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Battal Cüneyt Gence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wakame's Battal Cüneyt Gence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulvi Özengin in the 85th minute of play. Wakame's Battal Cüneyt Gence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Wakame from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes Wakame got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kutsi Neşit. Ulvi Özengin scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Battal Cüneyt Gence, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Besim Akabe hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
