If Acar Taşer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahap Lütfullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Uğurtan having to interfere. Vahap Lütfullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Halit Fahri Uğurtan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Fahri Uğurtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahya Naci in the 26th minute of the match. If Vahap Lütfullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahya Naci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Uğurtan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Acar Taşer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeniçeri Ocağı's supporters rose to their feet, but Acar Taşer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencalp Beycan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yeniçeri Ocağı's Halit Fahri Uğurtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahap Lütfullah in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Acar Taşer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gencalp Beycan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acar Taşer in the 66th minute of the match. Vahap Lütfullah struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Halit Fahri Uğurtan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saruhanli SK. In the 71stth minute of the game Yahya Naci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yeniçeri Ocağı's Halit Fahri Uğurtan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Vahap Lütfullah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halit Fahri Uğurtan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Saruhanli SK's zone, Acar Taşer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gencalp Beycan came out of the goal and Acar Taşer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Yeniçeri Ocağı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Arif Kurboga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Vahap Lütfullah got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 90th minute, Yeniçeri Ocağı's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vahap Lütfullah fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st minute, Rafettin Özdeş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saruhanli SK's Güven Sarper couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yeniçeri Ocağı. Saruhanli SK played a much better game than Yeniçeri Ocağı and deserved their victory. The Yeniçeri Ocağı players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
