Stefan Bejgier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Özkanoğulları SK's Arın Tanbolat got a free kick in the 15th minute. Stefan Bejgier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özden İlksel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Özkanoğulları SK were furious when Dorukhan Ünverdi was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Özkanoğulları SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sahinbey FK a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alemdar Urhan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Özkanoğulları SK's Umut Tuğkun. 1-2. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göktan Yücel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sahinbey FK's Mert Akşit got a free kick in the 51st minute. Stefan Bejgier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktan Yücel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çağan Yücelen during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çağan Yücelen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Göktan Yücel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Bejgier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umut Tuğkun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Battal Seyyit Cansefa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 61 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Sahinbey FK's goal looked a bit too open when Göktan Yücel came free, but Stefan Bejgier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osman Nuri Erdem received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When Mert Akşit came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sahinbey FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mert Akşit couldn't finish the play. Umut Tuğkun was a little too slow when Osman Nuri Erdem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 3-5. When Alemdar Urhan fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sahinbey FK's protests and gave Alemdar Urhan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Sahinbey FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alemdar Urhan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktan Yücel in the 84th minute of play forced Sahinbey FK's goalkeeper Stefan Bejgier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Ayhan Turgut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Rüknettin Türker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Bejgier was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Sahinbey FK's Stefan Bejgier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktan Yücel in the 95th minute of play. Mert Akşit was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Sahinbey FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sahinbey FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
