The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kursunlu's Feridun Ünan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezai Durul in the 4th minute of play. Öztürk Poyraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kursunlu booed when Buldan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Ali Mutlualp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Öztürk Poyraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ahmet Ömür Şevket tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kursunlu defense, Sezai Durul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feridun Ünan. The Kursunlu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feridun Ünan should have stopped the shot. Efekan Akçasu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ahmet Ömür Şevket tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Buldan fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Buldan's Sezai Durul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Feridun Ünan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sezai Durul's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kursunlu's zone, Sezai Durul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feridun Ünan came out of the goal and Sezai Durul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reis Akcebe hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efekan Akçasu in the 40th minute of play forced Buldan's goalkeeper Ahmet Ömür Şevket to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Buldan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Halim Nahit hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Buldan's goal looked a bit too open when Efekan Akçasu came free, but Ahmet Ömür Şevket reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Buldan were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efekan Akçasu was the one to do the kick off. Nurkan Türkyılmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Efekan Akçasu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Ömür Şevket. Buldan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efekan Akçasu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Feridun Ünan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sezai Durul's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olcay Tümer got free with Feridun Ünan in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Kursunlu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sezai Durul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Buldan played a much better game than Kursunlu and deserved their victory. The Kursunlu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
