The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Jivavijaya Hagi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AĞRI 04's Battal Gazi Doğulu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AĞRI 04's Battal Gazi Doğulu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Kaynak in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Nebi Ispartalı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olcay Yenbu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Battal Gazi Doğulu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Nebi Ispartalı managed to get in a good position for a shot. AĞRI 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Nebi Ispartalı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orhan Kaynak struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Battal Gazi Doğulu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZEYTİN DALI SK. In the 19th match minute, ZEYTİN DALI SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kandemir Özguc to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, AĞRI 04's Battal Gazi Doğulu got control of the ball when Olcay Yenbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jivavijaya Hagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Gazi Doğulu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İbrahim Ethem Nursal during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Battal Gazi Doğulu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Nursal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jivavijaya Hagi got free with Battal Gazi Doğulu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ZEYTİN DALI SK's Olcay Yenbu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 40 minutes in the game, fortunately Battal Gazi Doğulu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. AĞRI 04's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Orhan Kaynak 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 46th minute, ZEYTİN DALI SK's Orhan Kaynak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Battal Gazi Doğulu. Battal Gazi Doğulu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jivavijaya Hagi was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes ZEYTİN DALI SK got a freekick which was hit by Jivavijaya Hagi. Jivavijaya Hagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Battal Gazi Doğulu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Derya Nazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jivavijaya Hagi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Battal Gazi Doğulu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Orhan Kaynak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battal Gazi Doğulu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jivavijaya Hagi's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Deivid Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Ethem Özilhan in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Olcay Yenbu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Battal Gazi Doğulu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 84 minutes, Jivavijaya Hagi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZEYTİN DALI SK and the AĞRI 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olcay Yenbu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Battal Gazi Doğulu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, AĞRI 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Çağrı Erbelgin to maneuver through the defense. Jivavijaya Hagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AĞRI 04's zone, Orhan Kaynak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Battal Gazi Doğulu came out of the goal and Orhan Kaynak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute of the match Aytek Gümüşcü shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Battal Gazi Doğulu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
