In the 4th minute, Melih Kartay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saadettin Turgay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Suarez in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Curt Dudek saved FenerCity from getting behind. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Florentino Suarez sped through FenerCity's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Curt Dudek. Curt Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Kajdasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Beykoz's goal looked a bit too open when Şahap Akata came free, but Basri Korur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FenerCity's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Suarez came free, but Curt Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Atilla Tarkan Tarhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beykoz and the FenerCity players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, Tuna Metehan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beykoz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FenerCity the free kick. The supporters of FenerCity booed when Beykoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuna Metehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Numan Başeskioğlu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Beykoz's Basri Korur. Basri Korur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Suarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Kajdasz in the 54th minute of play forced FenerCity's goalkeeper Curt Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curt Dudek made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Florentino Suarez sent off a good shot on target. Numan Başeskioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Basri Korur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basri Korur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahap Akata in the 64th minute of the match. Beykoz's Basri Korur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkin Özsahin in the 65th minute of play. Marian Kajdasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Dudek having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Numan Başeskioğlu in the 68th minute of play forced Beykoz's goalkeeper Basri Korur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Şahap Akata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Suarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Curt Dudek came out and tried to block the shot, but Florentino Suarez slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Florentino Suarez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Curt Dudek. The goal made the score 3-3. In the 82nd minute, Florentino Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Şahap Akata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri Korur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basri Korur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahap Akata in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Numan Başeskioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3.
