After 2 played minutes GÜRE KÖYÜ FK got a freekick which was hit by Dorotheos Makris. In the 6th minute, Batı Serol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, KastamonuSpor's Rafettin Ünalan tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Songurhan Mukerrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Resat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ahmet Hamdi İbiş fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÜRE KÖYÜ FK's protests and gave Ahmet Hamdi İbiş a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GÜRE KÖYÜ FK's Ahmet Hamdi İbiş got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Håkan Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samet Zülfikar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KastamonuSpor's Samet Zülfikar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save KastamonuSpor from getting a goal against them. Yıldıray Resat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Reha Yazargil in the 19th minute of play. Samet Zülfikar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hamdi İbiş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorotheos Makris got free with Samet Zülfikar in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes of play, GÜRE KÖYÜ FK's Meriç Salar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samet Zülfikar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Dorotheos Makris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samet Zülfikar. That made the score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Håkan Vallengren made a precise shot to the right of Samet Zülfikar. KastamonuSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Thanks to some nice moves Dorotheos Makris could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Samet Zülfikar however easily saved by the left post. Yıldıray Resat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Reha Yazargil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafettin Ünalan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorotheos Makris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, GÜRE KÖYÜ FK's goalkeeper Yıldıray Resat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Reha Yazargil. After a rather tough play, KastamonuSpor's Rafettin Ünalan got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Peyami Çelenk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samet Zülfikar skillfully saved the ball. Yıldıray Resat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mürsel Baytüze in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Songurhan Mukerrem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KastamonuSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Songurhan Mukerrem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Reha Yazargil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Resat having to interfere. Dorotheos Makris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ahmet Reha Yazargil managed to get in a good position for a shot. KastamonuSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Reha Yazargil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yıldıray Resat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes, Songurhan Mukerrem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KastamonuSpor and the GÜRE KÖYÜ FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. KastamonuSpor were furious when Yusuf Özgenalp was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, KastamonuSpor's Yusuf Özgenalp got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Peyami Çelenk came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the GÜRE KÖYÜ FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyami Çelenk couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Meriç Salar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samet Zülfikar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorotheos Makris in the 97th minute of play forced KastamonuSpor's goalkeeper Samet Zülfikar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
