Mümtaz İslam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergincan Şimşektürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute of the match FTH f.c. got a corner. gönenspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nurtekin Durali ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FTH f.c.'s İshak Onar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 15 minutes into the match, FTH f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Battal Cüneyt Bozbora came free, but Artun İzci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. gönenspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emran Cankan in the 21st minute. The corner led gönenspor's Emran Cankan to fire away a dangerous shot which Artun İzci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gürbüz Yıldızhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artun İzci. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, gönenspor's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuzalp Sabir came free, but Mümtaz İslam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mümtaz İslam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yavuzalp Sabir went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Ergincan Şimşektürk came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FTH f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ergincan Şimşektürk couldn't finish the play. Yavuzalp Sabir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mümtaz İslam having to interfere. Murathan Yener kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Battal Cüneyt Bozbora made a kick off. Necdet Canbulat kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Artun İzci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt Bozbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fırat Okcan's late challenge caught a gönenspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fırat Okcan helped the player get up and apologised. Fırat Okcan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Battal Cüneyt Bozbora in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artun İzci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes of play, FTH f.c.'s Ergincan Şimşektürk made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mümtaz İslam was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuzalp Sabir in the 68th minute of play forced gönenspor's goalkeeper Mümtaz İslam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes gönenspor got a freekick which was hit by Nadir İskandil. Emran Cankan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gencay Ferikoğlu during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artun İzci came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by gönenspor's Gürbüz Yıldızhan. But to his dismay, Gürbüz Yıldızhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Yavuzalp Sabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mümtaz İslam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mümtaz İslam was a little too slow when Yavuzalp Sabir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-4. In the 94th minute, Cengiz Ongunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The gönenspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4.
