But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulkadir Reca couldn't finish the play. Selman Taşkan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Orhun Hallaç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Refahiye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhun Hallaç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dinç Zağanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asarcik FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinç Zağanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fethi Hasankeyf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Çağdaş Korgan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Refahiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağdaş Korgan couldn't finish the play. Orhun Hallaç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Münir Tapık read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Asarcik FK's Cemil Çubuk got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Asarcik FK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dinç Zağanos hit a great ball. Abdulkadir Reca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fethi Hasankeyf having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Orhun Hallaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Münir Tapık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinç Zağanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fethi Hasankeyf made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Refahiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Erkılıç to maneuver through the defense. Asarcik FK's Abdulkadir Reca managed to work through Refahiye's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Abdulkadir Reca dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinç Zağanos in the 52nd minute of play forced Refahiye's goalkeeper Fethi Hasankeyf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdülhak Eraslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Münir Tapık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdülhak Eraslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Münir Tapık made a huge save. Fethi Hasankeyf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkadir Reca in the 64th minute of play. Abdülhak Eraslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ahmet Baki Vecihi charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Baki Vecihi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Asarcik FK booed when Refahiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Baki Vecihi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orhun Hallaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asarcik FK's Münir Tapık proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Asarcik FK from getting a goal against them. Abdulkadir Reca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fethi Hasankeyf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fethi Hasankeyf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkadir Reca in the 98th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Refahiye walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
